Donate a Brick and Help Pave the Way for the Next Generation in Animal Sheltering in New Mexico!
Make Your Mark on the LifeRaft Lodge's Founder's Walk - to be located at the front entrance of the LifeRaft Lodge.
Say how much you care about the at-risk homeless pets of New Mexico by donating an engraved brick to help us pave the way to the new LifeRaft Lodge – New Mexico’s first large scale, eco-friendly companion animal foster care and medical and rehabilitation center. With approximately 100,000 homeless pets not currently making it out of New Mexico's animal control and shelter systems alive each year, the LifeRaft Lodge is a literal life-raft for New Mexico's homeless pets. This first LifeRaft Lodge will serve the needs of approximately 20,000 at-risk homeless pets from across the state of New Mexico each year who would not otherwise have a second chance at life and the opportunity to find a loving forever home. Each donated brick for this Founders’ Walk campaign will be a visible part of the front entrance of the LifeRaft Lodge.
With the current lack of adequate animal sheltering infrastructure and also the lack of no-kill programming for much of the state of New Mexico, we have an URGENT need to complete this first LifeRaft Lodge location as soon as possible hence this Donate a Brick/Founders' Walk campaign will only be available through the end of this August. We encourage you to please join this Founders' Walk campaign and then share with your friends and family and encourage them to do the same. This Donate a Brick program is a permanent contribution to the very foundation of this project on many levels. Funds raised through this Founders' Walk effort will be used for the land purchase and/or establishing the facility's basic infrastructure, depending on what land and other in-kind donations may be received.
